Three Automations Worth Building First
June 29, 2026 · 6 min read
Automation projects fail when they start with a tool instead of a bottleneck. We ask a simpler question: what does someone retype every week?
Approval routing is the usual first win. A form, a conditional approver, a notification and an audit trail replaces a chain of forwarded emails in a few days of work.
Client and job intake is second. Capturing structured data once and pushing it into the CRM, the accounting system and the project folder structure eliminates the most common source of dirty data.
Third is recurring reporting. If someone exports the same spreadsheet every Monday morning, that is a scheduled flow, not a job description.
